Invest in Good Business Equipment: My Experience

When I started my cabinet production business, I was lucky enough to secure a good business loan, since my credit was stellar. Although I had the cash to purchase brand-new equipment or gently used items, I wanted to save by buying very old items. I was told they had a lot of life left in them, even though their low price seemed too good to be true. I learned my lesson when important pieces kept breaking down. I even had to stop production for several days to fix an important item. I learned a huge lesson that if the price of used production equipment sounds too good to be true, it likely is. I created this blog to remind other business owners that purchasing quality equipment may cost more money upfront, but it will save you money and a huge headache in the end. I hope I can help you.

What's The Difference Between Extruded Stucco And Actual Stucco?

Stucco siding and trim have this upstanding appeal that just gives your home this natural regal quality, but the typical process of installing stucco can be long, messy, and pretty expensive. If you want the look of stucco without all the downfalls of actual stucco, extruded stucco trim and panels are the way to go. However, most homeowners simply do not know a lot about the differences between real stucco and extruded stucco. If you are weighing your options, you are bound to want to know more. Take a look at the primary differences between regular stucco applications and extruded stucco.

Extruded stucco is at least partially cured before it is installed.

When regular stucco is applied to your home, the components and compounds are mixed on site and applied to the outer walls of your home. Once in place, the new siding and trim have to cure for a span of time before it actually hardens to a completed finish. On the other hand, extruded stucco panels and trim pieces are created through an extrusion process in a factory. The mixed materials are pushed through molds into sheets and trim pieces and are at least partially cured by the time they get applied to your home.

Extruded stucco is far less time-consuming to install.

If you opt for regular stucco for your home, you just as well count on the contractors hanging around to complete the work on your home for at least a few days. It takes a lot of time to get the compounds mixed and applied to the different sections of the house. Extruded stucco will be installed by the piece, usually in sheets or panels. Therefore, contractors can cover a lot of area in a single day and may even be able to get the job completed.

Extruded stucco can create a more finished appearance to your home.

If you like the idea of clean-cut lines and finishes on the outside of the house, you may prefer extruded stucco instead of regular stucco. Even though great care is taken to smooth and level regular stucco during installation, there is no match between what human hands can do and what a machine can do during extruded stucco creation. Every last piece that gets installed will have a more uniform appearance with clean lines and cuts, which can make for a neater finish for your home overall.
